This page explains how to permanently delete your Cerberus parent account and the data associated with it. This information is provided for Google Play account deletion compliance and is publicly accessible without signing in.

How to delete your Cerberus account

You can delete your account directly in the Cerberus Parent app:

  1. Open the Cerberus Parent app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  4. Complete authentication to verify it is you:
    • Email/password accounts: re-enter your password.
    • Google or Facebook accounts: complete Google or Facebook reauthentication.

After successful verification, your account deletion is processed and related data is removed as described below.

What is deleted

When you delete your Cerberus account, the following data is removed:

  • User account
  • Parent profile
  • Parent–child pairings
  • Devices
  • Protection settings
  • Activity history
  • Authentication tokens

Local app data on your devices is cleared when you sign out and uninstall the apps.

Data that may be retained

We delete account data as described above. Limited information may be retained only when legally required, for example:

  • Records we must keep to comply with applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Information needed to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or prevent abuse or fraud, for as long as reasonably necessary

Where retention is required, we limit access and retain only what is necessary for the legal purpose.

Alternative request by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email getcerberusapp@gmail.com from the address linked to your account with the subject Cerberus Account Deletion Request. Include your registered email. We will verify ownership and process the request.
